Forbidden & Permissible

I suddenly have the urge to blog several stuff, I should quickly do so else I will feel the dissatisfaction and won’t motivate to continue my FYP Report and hardcore studying for my Proteomic UT!

You know the feeling of burden in your heart that kept your mind from concentrating and buttock stick on to the chair, typing and typing!

The module selection have been up! I am one of the fews who went for the module selection talk and god blessed, I did the right thing!

The 4 modules that I am choosing are :

2 core specialization module :Cell cycle and Oncology , Clinical Trial

2 freely-choosen module : Consumer Psychology ,Sports and Exercise Nutrition

By right I thought I must follow my track course structure and choose Structural Biology which is a “self-suicide” module! This module touches on both genomic and proteomic ,which I am struggling in this semster,together and it was rank the most difficult module among the entire biomedical science modules! I am getting sick of DNA and proteins seriously!

A big gratitidude to my PI, Dr Girja ,who said that this time round, student can choose other core specialization modules and the easier to score is clinical trial! I pitied those people who never attend the briefing, good luck to them!

Well…cell cycle and oncology basicially touches on the study of cancer, a hot topic among scientist and medical doctor. I should at least make my “biomedical sciences” diploma credible by taking this module!

I may be the man who found cure for cancer one day!Who knows?

Clinical trial is under pharmaceutical science track. The reason I chose this module was it seemed easy! Not sciences but more to a logical thinking, like what processes are went through for this drug to be tested safe etc…just like lab managment module? I can simply crap throughout the 16 weeks! I am currently taking Phamaceutical legislation and marketing, I am basic to the phamaceutical business and not prescribing drugs to people.

The reason I choose FCMs as my elective is providing an altenative route, I can still find career that are not science related. I don’t like science and I think lab work don’t suit me! I want a broader prospect infront of me!

I have to follow my passion when choosing the modules and restrain myself from over bias to my passion thinking, ” what will make me stand out from others?” ” What will my future employer or university look out for from the modules I have taken in Poly?”

Consumer psychology…cool! Imagined that we know how consumer think before they buy the product, I think that is cool! I have always like to be in the service sector, understanding consumer psychology sure give me a plus point in the future. I see myself decked with short sleeve shirt, wearing bermuda and a pair of flip flop working at NUM as sales ambassador

I am not a sport person but I still choose Sports and exercise Nutrition. I am thinking of combining my business mind of pharmacy , I can market sports stimulants drugs like muscle enriching drink, fat burner pills, improved stamina chocolate etc. I do still like sports, having a proportions build body make horny sluts and gay studs mouth drooling is still under my wish list.

That ended my module selection!

Last and for all, a big farewell to singapore national stadium! I defintely missed the time there during national day celebraion and youth festival! Quite sad that an inconic feature of singapore will be demolished.

The true “heart to heart” talk with a friend

Thinking back, how long ago I actually went out with this friend called, Justin, and only two of us? The only memory I can recalled is he bring me eat a very nice Bat Ku teh near Great world city! When? I totally forgotten! Perhaps there maybe even time we did really go out together but I just couldn’t remember! I utterly ashamed to myself for treating such an amiable friend so insignificant last time. I always asked yong sheng or shui huat out for shopping but forgetted this friend, thought that we won’t have topic to talk.

We met at vivo city and had our dinner at “The Chicken Rice House”. I gormandize the epicurean steamed chicken rice straight after it was served by the polite waiter. I was amazed they never charged any service charge or perhaps they include that in the $5.50 chicken rice. A feedback from the fastidious customer who cared much about his thick lips get hurt, remove the bone of the chicken next time please

After the filling dinner, we went shopping in this vast “mini city”. The word vivo means in lively way, so we were told to be as lively as possible whenever we were in this shopping center. smile = oh crap!

My this friend of mine is such a loving family guy. He bought a song album for his girlfriend,a eye massager for his sister, a big massager for his father and a beautiful red rose for his mother. As for me, I only care about the Zara 30% discount! Sad enough, I need to save money for my Nintendo DS and I still don’t have a good taste for such lavish clothes

We seem to went back to 1960s life when we were at the food republic. I bought a fried pancake forget its hokkien name, a taopica kueh and a traditional home made soya bean milk. We decided to gave our tired feet a rest and a heart to heart talk.

Sitting on the luxurious green and damp grasses under the starless sky, we slowly nibble the snack we bought. I guzzle the soya bean mlik while Justin sip by sip enjoying the beverage. The aroma of the soya bean milk and the mild scent of the flower behind us linger around. This kind of atmosphere really stimuate our mind and a nice heart to heart talk happen.

Ironically, I have always like to share my scandal and dirty secrets with my brothers but not him. I guessed I should stop doing so cause firstly, I making them more look down at me and secondly, I seem to be dropping depper into the bottomless hole. Bottomless holes? Thinking again, I think I should reach the target, bottomless.
My eyes went red, hopefully he don’t see under the dim light, when he told me something meant to be taboo to others. Kept in my heart always.

Never meet this friend for so long, i never knew he actually understand what i am thinking and what I went through this few weeks: trying hard to maintain friendship with some one but couldn’t give in. If give in, the some one will still carry on the same mistake, a thorn in our eye as always, the friendship forever at the crippling stage

He related all my feeling with what he actually went through with his classmate. He had pointed out my mistakes, one stated above, too aggressivly shared my scandal with him and the way I talk online. Criticizing, this verb seem to be causing lots of harm. We have both acknowledged that.

I have also realized this 7 year friendship of ours can’t be that simply end cause of my sudden explosion. I still hoped one day, we four of us will go out with laugher or tears but not hatred.

The stressed boy is losing his control

I mocked at other students who are so stressed up over thier FYP report last week…I regretted. THE SUBMISSION DATE apply to everybody, even our experiment started out late and the PI is the manager of SAS, we still need to submit our report by this coming wednesday! oh well…my PI have promised my group that she will help us talk to the other PIs and hopefully we can have one more week to do! Tremor crept into me when I heard the word, hopefully.

Neverthless I still need to complete it by this coming wednesday as a draft report…so it is still the same. Unlike PP, FYP really crashes with my daily lesson. I had to put down my research work and meet my PI and rush back to class and come up with the “abridged” powerpoint slide. I gave myself a pat on the shoulder for still able to present well. I had to skipped my lesson for the experiment argh!

The real experiment have started and everything went against the plan. Our report need the result and we started today just a week before the due date, how shit our situation is!

We should have started the experiment in the early morning, but thanks to the scar-faced TSO who kept our magnetic stirrer, we were unable to start until afternoon . Just because of this small magnetic stirrer… I am going to spit out my entire vocabulary of vulgarity.

YOU UGLY BITCH! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU! U ARE THE LABTECH SO BLOODY STAY IN THE LAB AND DON”T RUN AMOK FILIRTING WITH OTHER GUYS! STOP KEEPING OUR MAGNETIC STIRRER…Are YOU GOING TO USE THem STIR your Scared face…thinking you are doing diamond treatment or are you going to have dildoing session?

We also faced the problem of contaminated distilled water! After 30 minuteThis stupid TSO just came back from some petting session and act doing all the testing which wasted another 2 hour.

She hopped to us and explained : That is the natural of the RO water! The pH meter measure the H+ Ion…I almost throw the whole bottle of distilled water on her face! If the water is contaminated just say so and stop lieing until so professionally! In the end, we had to use tap water for our experiment!

Ok time to meet up with my dear friend, Justin yim ciaoz!

Oh yes! A nintendo DS under my wish list!

OK! The conclusion is I am a very unhealthy teenager!

I see what other boys are doing really make me suspecting am I 100% normal! They play dota, I don’t! They date, I don’t though I craving to, they play sports I don’t, they hang out with friends, I stay at home mastubating whole day! Damn it!

After a one night considering I have decided to do something what a healthy guy should do…

Nintendo DS! I choose the musculine color black though it look ugly to me =( Initially I wanted a white one but my game expert brother told me it will become yellowish later… The other two colors are aqua and pink

It will cost me a bomb $299! The good thing is the games can be downloaded for free,like PSP! Oh well…I think i need to earn that amount during the decemeber holiday =(

I know what you guys are thinking now: Only ladies will play Nintendo DS and guys should play PSP! I saw many girls holding it but not the guys! grr…that makes me need to consider twice oweing this!

I don’t like PSP! I think they are ugly! Big and bulky! It will be also very common when all the guys are holding it on the train! I prefer a light weight, slim and classic style nintendo DS instead! It is “chio”!

The games of PSP also not my type of game! I prefer cuter animation like super mario and pokemon! I don’t like real life and violent game! Simply turns me off! Ugly monster and hero in warcraft also turns me off! haha!

The movie critique!

Jessica Alba is hot and pretty! I like the end part when she dressed in Kimono! I thought that the graphic and sound effect is good and yes we have the plot, who says don’t have!

The fighting is not as amazing as Spider man punches and kicks! Just fly around and cast some magic spell.That is the disappointment! The movie is not touching at all, just feel that there are some kind of morale behind the movie.

After the dinner went to plaza singapura and play arcade! first time! I play the street fighter using Ryu and until 4th stages I lost, by that Zhangief! Also first time play the famous basket ball game! 90% MISS! People were watching behind they must be laughing…oh well..

I will blog some of my Understanding Test question and answer here! For people who still don’t know how “understanding” RP test were…it will be an eye opener for you… wahaha! Also how typical RP student like me answer the questions =x

Back to the IT Helpdesk! I always HAte going there! The people there totally cannot make The School still promise us we will have a nice virtual learning environment…FUCK LAH! WITH ALL THIS BAD SERVICE IT HELPDESK PEPOLE , HOW TO HAVE A NICE VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT! QUeing up for 30 minute NO BODY SERVE US! Know why! THe bloody assholes go for lunch!
